The most beautiful travel video you’ve ever seen?

David Abram, celebrated traveller, writer, philosopher and cultural ecologist recently visited a little-known corner of China, Yunnan. In particular he travelled the Songtsam Circuit – a circuitous route from lodge to lodge taking in the sacred Tibetan massif known as ‘Kawakarpo’, the upper Mekong Valley and village of Tacheng, as well as the region’s capital, Shangri La.
David, whose travels have spanned the globe, hadn’t heard of this remarkable little piece of the world before TransIndus told him about it – such is the expertise of this tour operator.
However, even the travel-soaked staff at TransIndus couldn’t have foreseen what David would create from his trip: a beautiful, haunting and inspiring film that captures the very essence of this brief visit, one of David Abram’s “most enjoyable travel experiences…”
Amrit Singh, TransIndus’ founder and Managing Director says, “Rarely have I watched a film of a destination to which we operate that makes me fall in love with travel all over again. David has truly captured not only the soul of the region, but how travelling here can unlock feelings of spirit within the visitor.”
Anthony Ryan, TransIndus’ Marketing Manager, admires the technical and artistic skills Abram displays in this work. “David’s cinematography is superb and he manages to keep each shot simple and yet packed with action and visual stimulation.
“His mastery over some very sophisticated kit has produced a beautiful result, one that showcases TransIndus’ in-depth knowledge of its own favourite parts of the world and one that will spearhead our increasing move into video as a way to spread the message about what travelling with TransIndus can be.”
Take a look at David’s mesmerising film and we challenge you to want to turn it off before the end.

Travel PR are a joy to work with. They understand their clients and media contacts well, and are always super-responsive when needed. I always take notice when they contact me as they never waste my time with anything irrelevant. All in all, a great team who have my trust and respect.
