Stimulate both body and mind on InsideAsia Tours’ new Vietnamese adventure

From restorative wellness activities, aromatherapy and Ayurvedic teachings, to mindful cookery and wholesome Vietnamese fare, South-east Asia specialist introduces Vietnam Rejuvenation
With more people seeking transformative travel experiences that focus on self-reflection and self-discovery, InsideAsia Tours has created a new itinerary that aims to restore the body, revive the mind and feed the soul – Vietnam Rejuvenation.
The new 17-night fully-tailored itinerary takes experiential travel to another level, designed to stimulate both body and mind through a combination of relaxing therapies, treatments and lessons that reinvigorate the body, as well as immersive spiritual and cultural experiences that refocus the mind.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NEW TOUR INCLUDE:
Relax and recover: Physical and mental renewal
Upon arrival in Hanoi, the in-house spa at La Siesta Premium Cau Go is the perfect antidote to a long-haul flight, setting a calming tone that is emblematic of the entire trip. During your journey through Vietnam, learn how to mix your own personal blended oil under the tuition of an aromatherapy expert in Hoi An, indulge in a luxurious spa treatment on Cat Ba Island and, following a ‘wellness assessment’, enjoy a programme – specifically tailored to fit personal needs and preferences – of Ayurvedic medicine and yoga at the Alba Wellness Valley near Hue.
Nourish and recharge: Local foodie secrets
With true wellness coming from within, guests will enjoy a wide range of nourishing Vietnamese foodie experiences. From the myriad lively cafés in the Old Quarter and the bustling night fruit and produce market, Long Biên, to lunch at the social enterprise KOTO – which stands for ‘Know One, Teach One’ and is a training restaurant that provides work for underprivileged and at-risk youths – Hanoi is a hub of sustenance and flavour. A fish sauce workshop in Duy Hai and a cooking lesson from a nutritionist at a local organic farm in Hoi An are also included, helping guests to discover and explore the benefits of Vietnamese cuisine.
Discover and enhance: Immersive cultural encounters
The tour through Vietnam is only enhanced by its incredible landscape and culture. Experience a guided visit to the War Remnants Museum and the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City, while a spiritually-mesmeric trip to a local pagoda and a cycle ride along the banks of the Perfume River await in Hue. Take part in a t’ai chi session on board a luxury cruise amidst the majesty of Halong Bay and enjoy a scenic expedition across the Hai Van Pass. Following a journey by xe loi (a motorised trishaw) and sampan (a traditional flat-bottomed wooden boat) along the Mekong Delta, guests will also have the opportunity to sip fresh coconut water and taste honey tea with a local family in their garden. As the trip comes to an end, a tropical utopia of white sand, emerald seas and swaying palms await in the partly-protected Phu Quoc region.
While the days are packed with a range of restorative wellness activities, the nights provide comfort and relaxation, with luxurious hotels complementing the trip. From the Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort to the Fusion Suites Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, every night on this extraordinary journey offers a tranquil slumber – ideal before days of exploration, wellbeing and revitalisation.
The 17-night fully-tailored itinerary is priced from £3,995 pp (two sharing), including 15-nights’ B&B hotel accommodation, two nights’ B&B on board the Halong Bay cruise, nine lunches, four evening meals, guided transfers and all experiences as per the itinerary. International flights extra.
