Save over £600 pp on a trip combining Malawi and Zambia

Blissful beach lodge Pumulani, situated beside Lake Malawi, celebrates its tenth birthday this summer. To mark the occasion, Robin Pope Safaris has tailored a special itinerary with an outstanding saving of over £600 pp.
The new ten-night Pumulani Anniversary Safari – split between Zambia and Malawi – combines three Robin Pope Safaris properties and three completely different experiences:
Three nights in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park – one of the last unspoiled wilderness areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa. The meandering Luangwa River, with its ox bow lagoons, runs through it, and the woodland and plains of the valley host huge concentrations of game – including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe and hippo. Luangwa River Camp, on the banks of the river, has just five romantic bush suites.
Three nights at brand new Kuthengo Camp in Malawi’s Liwonde National Park – a virtually untouched national park and home to hippo, crocodile, elephant, buffalo, endangered black rhino, antelope and cheetah. Kuthengo Camp (opened 27th April) has four spacious en suite safari tents, each with an outdoor shower, a bathtub, state-of-the-art ‘evening breeze’ air-conditioned beds, plus a private viewing deck.
Four nights at Pumulani on Lake Malawi
The lodge consists of just ten villas and is subtly nestled in the lush hills amongst the trees and craggy outcrops, overlooking Lake Malawi. Days can be spent by the infinity pool or by the beach pool, relaxing on your private deck, or taking a slow cruise aboard a traditional dhow.
The cost is from £3,739 pp (based on two sharing) – a saving of £617 pp – including full-board accommodation, all transfers (starting in Lusaka, Zambia and ending in Lilongwe, Malawi), most drinks, activities (except motorised water sports) and laundry. International flights not included. Offer valid for travel between 1 July and 31 October 2018 only.
