GIC The Villa Collection has expanded its 120-strong collection to include luxury yachts and hotel villas for the first time, as well as a range of new twin-centre options and a selection of stylish new properties. Designed to suit guests of all ages and tastes, from single travellers to couples looking for a secluded break and from multi-generational family holidays to groups of friends seeking a sleek getaway, GIC The Villa Collection has holiday options for everyone.

NEW: LUXURY YACHTS

Private luxury yachts join the GIC collection for the first time. With comfortable air-conditioned ensuite cabins, a maximum of ten guests can enjoy a week’s luxury sailing around the Ionian Islands’ most beautiful beaches and bays, accompanied by a professional skipper and a private chef. Book exclusively for friends and family, or simply take a cabin for a long weekend during selected charter weeks. Long weekends (three nights) in low season start from as little as £560 pp; a week-long break sailing from Corfu costs from £1,120 pp (excluding flights) when fully chartered with 10 guests.

NEW: HOTEL VILLAS

GIC The Villa Collection has added four Hotel Villa resorts too: luxury villas with private pools which offer peace and privacy while also benefiting from access to a high-standard range of hotel services and facilities, including restaurants, bars, a variety of swimming pools and sports, and even world-class spas.

Choose from the Aphrodite Hills Resort, dramatically located in the hills above Paphos, Cyprus, which boats arguably the best golf course on the island, and Costa Navarino, overlooking the Ionian Sea in the Greek Peloponnese, promising environmentally-friendly awareness, authentic hospitality and an award-winning spa. MULTI-CENTRE HOLIDAYS

PAXOS

Villa Somnium is surrounded by olive groves and has direct access to Marmari Beach via steps leading from its private pool. It occupies an enviable position on the smallest Ionian island, Paxos, with uninterrupted views across the sea to the mainland, this one-bedroom villa is an ideal romantic hideaway for couples. The terraces are perfect for relaxing as yachts sail by and as the light changes throughout the day, culminating with spectacular sunsets. LEFKAS

Secluded and set in its own private grounds, Villa Helonaki boasts panoramic sea views across to Vilcho Bay and the nearby islands of Meganissi, Skorpios and Madouri. Terraced seating areas around the pool, which features a swim-up bar, are surrounded by bougainvillea. Guests can enjoy alfresco meals in the outside dining area, sheltered by a pergola. With sweeping mountains, green landscapes and a turquoise sea, Lefkas delivers a typically dramatic Greek panorama to its visitors. PELOPONNESE

Sea View Villa is a luxury open-plan villa, set in extensive mature gardens, less than 150 metres from the water of the Argosaronic Gulf; it features a large, private infinity pool. Nearby Kranidi and Porto Heli offer a good selection of tavernas, but keen cooks will enjoy the large and modern kitchen. Alternatively, guests can relax and enjoy the services of a chef (bookable at additional cost). ITHACA

Set in private grounds and overlooking Vathy Bay, Villa Nondas is a spacious and comfortable property sleeping up to six guests and has just undergone a full renovation. The small medieval town of Paliochora is a short drive away and Vathy’s town has a variety of tavernas, café bars, bakeries and shops. Boat hire is available from the waterfront – an enjoyable way to reach beaches outside of Vathy Bay.
