On Foot Holidays
Prefer vegetarian or vegan meals on holiday?
On Foot Holidays now offers authentic local delicacies – suited to all dietary requirements – across a number of trips in Italy, Greece and Turkey… with more to follow.
With a sharp increase in requests for vegetarian or vegan meals on its walking holidays over the last few years, On Foot Holidays now offers several tours that fit the veggie/vegan bill, ensuring that all customers enjoy the ultimate foodie experience whilst on an On Foot Holiday.
Simon Scutt, Director of On Foot Holidays, said: “The dishes on offer for vegan travellers can sometimes be uninspiring and repetitive. We don’t want any of our walkers to miss out on the wonderful variety of regional cuisines in Europe that make a holiday so enjoyable – and good food is of course a keen requirement for hungry walkers! Our local contact in the Ligurian Hills led the way by improving the options for vegan walkers in his corner of Italy, and we have followed this up with two other routes, in Greece and Turkey, which already feature very good vegetarian cooking. We’ll keep working on it elsewhere!”
In addition to the tours listed below, many On Foot walks are already well-served with a variety of delicious vegetarian options, with others happy to adapt so that all guests can appreciate local culinary delights, no matter their dietary requirements.
