Beginning with a Devonshire cream tea upon arrival on 30 December, a caricaturist will be available for afternoon entertainment before a Champagne cocktail party, table d’hote dinner and music from a local jazz band. Take an invigorating coastal path walk the following day, with mince pies and mulled wine on return, then enjoy a golf competition or Children’s Club entertainment before the Grand Gala New Year Dinner, with music from a Highland piper followed by singer Howard Jones. On New Year’s Day, take an optional excursion to Exeter Racecourse (extra cost) or lunch, children’s cocktail making and a magic show, before a table d’hote dinner and music from a pianist.
