Yorkshire is home to some of the most stunning scenery in the UK, from moorland awash with purple heather, cascading waterfalls and lush valleys to charming market towns and thriving villages.
The Grange Hotel has partnered with The Yorkshire Chauffeur Company to offer guests a sophisticated Discover Yorkshire Experience in a brand-new Range Rover Sport. Enjoy uninterrupted views over the dry-stone walls and hedges from the 4×4’s elevated position while being driven by knowledgeable local guides.
Taste of Yorkshire
Drive through open countryside, over rolling hills and through picturesque Yorkshire villages on the Taste of Yorkshire Tour. Sip coffee in the beautiful village of Kilburn, marvel at the sweeping views of the Vale of York from Sutton Bank, wander around the pretty market towns of Helmsley and Hovingham and explore Castle Howard, one of Britain’s finest stately homes. Tour length: 4.5 hours.
For guests seeking complete freedom, bespoke tours are available. Flexible and tailored to meet individual requirements, choose where to visit and for how long. The experienced guides have a wealth of local knowledge, from seeking out the quaintest country pubs and tea rooms to recommending the best walks and views. Tour length: 4.5 hours.
The Discover Yorkshire Experience costs £498 total/£249 pp (two sharing) including two nights’ accommodation in a Standard Room with full Yorkshire breakfast each morning, a three-course dinner on the first evening, a 4.5-hour tour with The Yorkshire Chauffeur Company, entry tickets to Castle Howard and a North Yorkshire Cookbook, which features a delicious recipe from The Grange Hotel’s Head Chef, Will Nicol. Upgrade to a Premier Room for £538 total/£269 pp. Prices valid for Sunday to Friday stays. A modest supplement of £30 per room is charged for Saturday stays. Chauffeur tours can easily be extended at an extra £45 per hour.
