Eight days, Grand Canyon to Las Vegas Cycle, from £2,674 pp*
A demanding but exciting cycle, this route offers amazing views not just of the Grand Canyon, but also of the colourful desert, rocky gorges and forested plateaux around it. Passing historic towns on iconic Route 66, this is a fascinating ride with some challenging climbs and long descents, culminating in a ride along the famous Sunset strip in Las Vegas.

19 days, Everest Base Camp Trek, from £2,499 pp*
This extreme trek takes a route via the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar, through beautiful valleys, dense forests and across glacial rivers.
There is also the chance to trek to the summit of Kalapatar, the famous Everest viewpoint, before finally reaching the epic end-point of Base Camp.

A classic and extreme challenge, climb the highest freestanding mountain in the world and discover Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit above dusty African plains. Testing both physical and mental limits, this trek offers spectacular views and beautiful ice formations on the permanent glaciers that flow down from the summit.
