Spectacular musicals at Kilworth House Hotel & Theatre, Leicestershire

Movies by Moonlight in Sussex

Dorset Seafood Festival, Weymouth

Taking place around Weymouth’s historic harbourside, the Nyetimber Dorset Seafood Festival returns for another celebration of the region’s bountiful produce (13 – 14 July). Taste fresh dishes from nearly 100 stalls and get involved at a number of hands-on cookery sessions and demonstrations from top chefs, all of which are free of charge. Escape to the charming riverside Priory Hotel in the picturesque market town of Wareham, which sits in four acres of gardens, with views of the delightful countryside; it boasts 17 individually-appointed bedrooms and, recently opened, its oak and glass Garden Restaurant, designed to melt into its leafy environs. The Festival of Chichester, West Sussex

There’s something for everyone at the Festival of Chichester, a four-week celebration of the city, featuring live jazz, blues, rock and classical music performances, theatre, dance shows, arts and crafts workshops, and guided walks and tours of the city (15 June – 14 July). An exhibition of Rembrandt’s finest etchings in Bath

Widely regarded as one of the greatest printmakers of all time, Rembrandt’s scratchy, fine line images are remarkable for their power of expression. An exhibition of some of the artist’s most iconic images, including The Three Trees and The Hundred Guilder Print will be on display at Bath’s Holburne Museum (from 4 October).
