If you’ve been lusting over the hot properties featured in the second series of ‘Sex Education’ (currently showing on Netflix), here’s a chance to experience one for yourself. In the show, Blistors Farm – The Bull Pen (accommodates nine people, plus up to three dogs) is home to two of its key characters: no-nonsense, 16-year-old Ola (Patricia Allison) and her DIY-mad father Jakob (Mikael Persbrandt).
Tucked away in the heart of the Forest of Dean, you’ll instantly recognise the distinctive yellow front door of this unique property. A converted bull pen overlooking the beautiful Wye Valley – which has become as much a star of the series as the actors – it’s on the fringes of the traditional working village of Bream, well served with a village pub and two convenience stores. The characterful kitchen has original wooden beams, whilst the sitting room has an open fire and cosy sofas. Surrounded by mature gardens, the property is prepared for al fresco dining, and features various benches where you can enjoy a coffee and some peace and quiet. The property also has a private hot tub, a tennis court, secure bicycle storage, a two-acre enclosed area for dogs and, bizarrely, a Tardis.
A three-night stay costs from £86 pp (£771 total). £20 supplement per dog. Call holidaycottages.co.uk on 01237 459 888 www.holidaycottages.co.uk).
