Like something straight from a fairytale, the design of these two-tier wooden huts is based on a Komsio, a traditional Sámi cradle, meaning the boutique cabins are the epitome of comfort and cosiness. Accommodation is split over two levels, with the stylishly-designed ground floor living space featuring a sofa bed, seating area, large windows and warming electric fire – the perfect place to return to after a day exploring the snowy surroundings – and a private bathroom with shower and WC.
The upstairs room, however, is the pièce de résistance – a snug bedroom under a conical roof of glass. With 360o views of the starry Arctic sky, this is a dream spot from which to search out the mystical Aurora Borealis, whilst staying all tucked up in bed.
