Account Executive – Job Advert

Are you an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and creative Account Executive with 1-2 years’ experience of working in a dynamic agency environment?  Boutique communications agency, Travel PR (www.travelpr.co.uk), seeks an Account Executive looking for their next career step.

The successful candidate will support the implementation of campaigns and drive proactive media coverage for a collection of UK and international travel and lifestyle clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the team in the delivery of high-quality media coverage, as well as identifying key coverage opportunities for clients
  • Writing first draft press releases and supporting the team with media pitches
  • Building well-researched media lists, and keeping these up to date
  • Working with the wider team to help deliver PR campaigns, organise press visits and support media event implementation
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key travel and lifestyle journalists
  • Identifying, securing and managing influencers for social media activity
  • Desk research to support new business and client growth opportunities
  • Ability to work at speed, under tight deadlines
  • Creating and posting engaging content for clients on social media
  • Supporting the wider team with client administration, including reporting, coverage reports and filing

The successful candidate will have

  • 1-2 years’ experience working at JAE level (ready to take a step up), or will already be an established AE
  • Experience with consumer-facing brands – travel brands would be a bonus, but are not essential
  • A proactive nature, with the ability to come up with creative ideas for securing top coverage for clients
  • Digital experience working with influencers and on social media promotions / campaigns
  • Great organisation skills: this person will be the backbone to key Travel PR accounts
  • Strong writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task
