We are proud to have received the Bronze PR Award from Eurobest 2019 for the part we played in the Faroe Islands’ Closed for Maintenance Campaign. This is the second year the archipelago has seen unprecedented success for its ‘Closed for Maintenance, Open for Voluntourism’ campaign, which forms part of a wider move by the Faroes Islands’ tourist board to pave the way for a sustainable future for its islands.
As described on the Eurobest website, The PR Award celebrates creative work which successfully builds trust and cultivates relationships with credible third parties, utilising mainly earned-media tactics or channels to influence public dialogue and, ultimately, to change perceptions and behaviours in ways that protect and enhance the reputation and business of an organisation or brand with its target audiences.
We are glad to work with Visit Faroe Islands on this campaign and others and, particularly, to assist in highlighting the importance of sustainable tourism practices.
