I’ve been in travel for 20 years, and in travel PR for nearly as long. I worked for a tour operator before running the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO), now a client, for 9 years, and I enjoy extensive contacts with travel editors, journalists and other travel industry professionals.

I’m proud to have created and launched AITO’s Campaign for Real Travel Agents (a network of independent travel agents through which AITO operators’ brochures are distributed), and to have headed up AITO’s lobbying to the Office of Fair Trading, leading to a Monopolies and Mergers Inquiry into the Travel Industry – a five-year campaign on behalf of AITO members, involving a full-scale enquiry by the British Government.

I enjoy regular appearances on TV and radio to discuss travel industry-related issues, and I have a solid background in crisis management.

I speak French; France and Latin America are my current favourite travel destinations.
