A taste of luxury Spanish cuisine comes to the UK

This June, Cinco Jotas, the premium brand of acorn-fed jamón ibérico, is bringing a taste of Spanish high-end cuisine to the UK with its month-long GastroTour. Diners will get to discover the finest 100% jamón ibérico in the world, as 30 of the most prestigious restaurants* in the UK create exclusive dishes showcasing Cinco Jotas ham and host competitions to win gastronomic prizes.

A much-loved product amongst chefs worldwide – including José Pizarro and Nieves Barragan – Cinco Jotas jamón ibérico is created using the same authentic process passed down for four generations. Pata negra (black-hooved) pigs roam freely in the meadows of Jabugo, south-west Spain, eating acorns, local grass, roots, and wild herbs, and the resulting ham has an intensely sweet flavour and a sublime melt-in-the-mouth texture.


The inaugural Cinco Jotas GastroTour, in collaboration with 30 renowned UK restaurants – including Grupo Pizarro, Sabor, Hispania and Barrafina – is a festival of superior Spanish cuisine and brings this exceptional culinary delight to discerning diners in the UK.

Top chefs have expertly designed a menu of special tapas dishes for the GastroTour, all featuring Cinco Jotas jamón ibérico, including Jamón Churros served with Manchego Sauce at La Farola, Jamón and Monkfish Consomé at Sabor and Ragout of Sauteed Turbot with Ibérico Ham Lardons, Spring Vegetables and Pea Shoots at The Seafood Restaurant. Dishes will be available for dinner and lunch from 15 June to 15 July.

  • A two-night break for two people with flights and luxury hotel to Jabugo, south-west Spain, to visit Cinco Jotas: The winners will stroll through the dehesas (meadows), observe the famous indigenous acorn-fed pata negra pigs roaming free, tour the curing cellars and learn about the fine art of ham carving and tasting, with luxury hotel accommodation. To enter this competition, diners simply need to order a special Cinco Jotas dish at one of the participating restaurants* and post their feedback on www.gastrotourcincojotas.com where they will be entered into a prize draw to be in with the chance of winning.
  • A meal for two to the value of £50 pp at one of the participating restaurants. To enter the competition, diners will need to order a special Cinco Jotas dish at one of the participating restaurants* and upload a photo of the dish to Instagram, following and tagging @CincoJotas and using the hashtag #gastrotourcincojotas. There are five meals for two up for grabs, which will be awarded to the five photos with the most likes.
