Lyme Disease Action is a UK-registered charity striving for the prevention and treatment of Lyme disease and associated tick-borne diseases. Caused by the bite of an infected tick, Lyme disease is usually curable with antibiotics if diagnosed and treated at an early stage. However, in the UK there is a problem with a lack of early diagnosis - due largely to poor awareness by both the medical profession and consumers.

Brighter Futures is based on trade not aid. They help local producers in economically disadvantaged tourism dependent communities, to sell and gain fair prices for their goods.
