Greek Islands Club rebrands and launches new name, website and 2011 brochure

A new look for GIC – The Villa Collection

Villa specialist GIC – The Villa Collection has launched a sleek new image for 2011, with a new name, website and brochure. GIC – The Villa Collection, formerly known as Greek Islands Club (GIC), continues to offercomfortable, secluded properties, most with private pool, to the Greek islands of Corfu, Paxos, Antipaxos, Lefkas, Meganissi, Ithaca, Cephalonia, Alonissos, Skopelos, Skiathos, Crete andSantorini, drawing on over 40 years of unrivalled experience.

Each and every GIC villa offers something unique that makes it that extra bit special– whether it be a cottage close to the sea with a boat mooring, a child-friendly villa with pool or a village home where you can truly immerse yourself in the local community. Properties are handpicked for their privacy, standards of comfort and proximity to the sea.

Says Chris Wright, Managing Director: “GIC was the original villa specialist to Greece, and we want to ensure that it remains the best. Our new branding reflects a new direction for GIC – The Villa Collection: a fresh, simple logo and name that does what it says on the tin; a user-friendly website with full property details and beautiful images; and a new-look brochure summarising the featured islands and villas that’s informative but without waffle. All this without compromising the attention to detail and superior villa offerings on which we have always prided ourselves.”

The new name

In the past, the use of the word ‘Club’ has confused some customers. GIC – The Villa Collection reflects more clearly what the programme offers – an exclusive selection of villas in the Greek Islands.

The new website

The website is now live at www.gicthevillacollection.com. With an entirely different look and feel to align it with the new branding, the site is much easier to navigate, allowing clients to book online and save existing quotes to come back to at a later date. It also provides more in-depth information on the islands and villas than the brochure, as well as additional property images.

The new 2011 brochure

The newly-designed brochure provides a clearer, more user-friendly format, with ‘at a glance’ information on the featured islands and properties.
